Welcome To The Open Door !
About Us and What We Do as A Ministry:
We are just a group of imperfect people striving to live a life for God. No matter where you are in this life, we hope you’ll find a place to connect to Jesus and one another at
The Ministry of The Open Door.
Demonstrating the love of Jesus & impacting the lives of others.
We're the Ruffins.
We welcome you in the name of Jesus Christ. The Ministry of The Open Door has been gifted in working with people that have been wounded and have faced discouragement in life.
This is a spiritual hospital, a place of refreshing and a launching pad. It's also a place of new beginnings, new hope, and a place where we strive to make disciples of God.
The Ministry of The Open Door is made up of ordinary people whom God loves and has hand picked for Himself. In this place, it is okay to acknowledge there have been some bumps along the way. We thank God that He has been and will always be with us, no matter what we're going through.
Some people come to The Ministry of The Open Door in hopes of making a change for the better; some for the comfort of being around others who love God, some because they feel the call of God on their lives, and some because of the love. There is a feeling of "family" here, and a person is not a stranger for long.
16 Jesus replied with this story: “A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations. 17 When the banquet was ready, he sent his servant to tell the guests, ‘Come, the banquet is ready.’ 18 But they all began making excuses. One said, ‘I have just bought a field and must inspect it. Please excuse me.’ 19 Another said, ‘I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out. Please excuse me.’ 20 Another said, ‘I now have a wife, so I can’t come.’
21 “The servant returned and told his master what they had said. His master was furious and said, ‘Go quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and invite the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’ 22 After the servant had done this, he reported, ‘There is still room for more.’ 23 So his master said, ‘Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full.
